My grandmother also came to the RD, dh's grandmother wasnt able to make it she is in her 90's and we figured she take it easy before the wedding.

Some people invite all OOT guests but then it gets expensive

IF you want, you can invite all OOTers. We are inviting just the parents, our bp which is just my sister and his brother, and also all of fh's grandparents - he has all 4 still alive. I have 2 alive but they are in poor health and won't be coming to any wedding events

We just invited the BP and their spouses, parents and that was it. It is a week before the wedding so no OOT will be in yet, and we have no readers. My FG and RBs are my sister's kids.

i know its crazy...luckily we didnt really have any oot guests, very few and most were coming the day of the wedding so they werent here for the RD. We had only one OOT guest at our RD, it was one of our readers daughter from florida. But it was great bc this reader and his wife are dh's parents best friends and the daughter grew up with Dh and his brother.

WE invited SO's of our bp, but some couldn't make it...i think in the end we had about 45-50 guests

When you say parents and the BP, do you mean you invited your BP's parents or your own parents? I think you mean the BP's parents, right?

I am just inviting my BP...I want our parents to come but they need to entertain the OOT guests. I cannot afford a 60 person RD...

Our own parents. The bridal party is mostly family anyway. But I don't think I would invite the BP's parents if they weren't family.

You, FH, Parents, FILS, BP, Flowergirl, Ring Bearer...I will not have my readers there! They can't be! One is in Maine and the other is in S.I..it will be hard for them to come out!!!!

And my out of town bridesmaid is in TN..so she can not make it up till a few days before the wedding!!!

FH and I just went through our list the other day and it is driving us nuts.... we have young cousins in our BP so their parents have to come.... not to mention we have 23 people in our bridal party, plus our parents and grand parents, significant others,

we are inviting everyone who is taking part in the ceremony and their SOs.
