who had a better selection of plus size wedding dress samples?
Lillettes in bellmoreBridal reflections in Massapequa
Or
Bridal suite of centereach?
They all say on their websites they are the best! Idk who to go to. Trying on a size 14 is the smallest size I can get into however its very hard to judge.....id like places with 16,18 or even better 20!!

Bridal suite of centereach had a good selection. Also the commack wedding center has a good selection as well.

Yea I just called l lillettes and she told me they will make the experience the best they can abd they do a good job of showing brides what a dress will look like even if it's too small. Yea that's not gonna wheel I can only get my hips into.a 14! Lol

i didn't fit into really any of the samples at lillette's or at village bridal in babylon (where i ultimately purchased), but both places made me feel great and did magic work with those clips.

I found my dress at Demetrios bridal in Macy's Manhasset. They had a big selection of plus sized gowns for me to try on and the consultant did her best to make me feel comfortable in every dress, even if it wasn't a perfect fit. I highly recommend giving them a shot. Plus they are MUCH cheaper than Bridal Reflections. There is also one in Smithhaven Mall if you are in Suffolk.Good luck!

I tried on one dress that I couldn't get over my hips by stepping into it, so the consultant helped me get into it by putting it over my head. It was an adventure, but I got to try on a gown that was a size 8!! Once she clipped me in, I felt fine.

Maybe that's the problem....my mom has jumped in the room to help me dress and not the consultants......hmmmm

Oh no. My girl was all up in my stuff, which was totally fine. There were times I thought a dress was going to rip getting it over my hips, but she was just like HERE WE GO! And it was fine.

You have to wear the right under garments too, so like if you're wearing a longline bra on wedding day be sure to wear one trying the dresses it makes a big difference

I'd like to only wear a strapless bra. That is uncomfortable enough as it is lol!!

I worry about wardrobe malfunctions before comfort lol! so I asked the dress shop what works best with the styles I wanted to try on, they are helpful that way!
