who had an after party after their reception and where?

since my wedding is over so early at 6pm, we are thinking of doing something after.

FH's sister had an afternoon wedding and they continued the party back at her parents house. Now FH's cousin is having an afternoon wedding next summer and they are doing the same at FH's aunt's house.

We're having an evening wedding but the next morning we're having a 'brunch' at FH's parents. As you can tell, they're big into families and parties!!

I've been having the same issue lately. i was thinking of either pitching a tent in my moms back yard, getting some kegs and putting some speakers outside OR renting a limo bus and going out. I dont know what will be open since its the weekend BEFORE Memorial Day

My reception ends at 230 am and then we are having an after hrs party till 6am for all our club friends!

We have been thinking about this as well. Our wedding will be ending at 6:00 and we are thinking about spending some time out at the bar area in the Fox Hollow for a little post-party celebration.

Our reception is over at 5:30 and will be going to a bar afterwards.

we haven't arranged anything proper but our reception ends at 1am. some may go back up to westchester on a bus we are providing and then go out to any bars around there and we are staying on LI and probably head to the bar in the hotel or a bar near the catering hall.

we are going to have an after party at my parents house after our wedding. my parents did this for my sister and everyone really enjoyed it. she really got to talk to people she didn't get to spend time with at the wedding.

Ours ended at 5:30 and my parents had everyone back to their house. We got little cards printed up to put in the invitation because we were having a live band and wanted to make sure we'd have enough people. She just got lots of beer, a hero, and some wine and we had about 80 people. We even had one of our photographers come back for a small fee on the side and take pictures. Some of our best photos are from the after-party. It was much more 'quality time' with our guests.
