We have a 42' Sony plasma tv. It is the biggest thing ever. Fantastic picture though. FI LOVES it!
It's a plasma flat screen. Not sure if they come not flat, but ours is like 3 inches thick.

We've got one. It's a Sony XBR 42''. It's gorgeous. The picture is incredible! We did A LOT of research on them so please feel free to ask as many questions as you like!!

We are getting one as well. It's actually on order because we are getting it from Hitachi, whom my BIL works for. It's a 42-inch as well, and we plan on wall-mounting it to save space in TV viewing area (we have not decided if it will be in the living room or not).
