Thanks!

Re: who has been on a hawaii cruise?
Hey there!
I went on Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of America in January 2006 that was in Hawaii.
Definitely book your excursions through the cruise line. If for whatever reason your tour runs late, they won't leave without you! If you book with an outside company, they won't know to wait for you and you run the risk of missing the boat - literally!
When we went we actually did a lot of things on our own - not excursions, but just did mostly beach related things. We did, however, do helicopters over the volcanoes through Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. I think it was like $250pp but it was an AMAZING experience - you literally fly in a helicopter over active volcanoes! The only other excursion we did was a day trip on the day the cruise ended (b/c we got off the boat at 9am and our flight home wasn't until 10pm that evening!). The tour went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. I'll FM you more info on everything else we did while we were in Hawaii!
