Where are good places to stay? Does anyone know of hotels or B&Bs there that allow small dogs (under 20 lbs)? Thanks in advance!

I live about 15 minutes from NF. Did you want to stay on the American or Canadian side? I recommend the Canadian, personally.

We hadn't thought about that. Is the Canadian side further to get to? We are coming from DC. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Nope, not at all. You just have to pay and clear customs to get to the Canadian side. Not a big deal at all!

I went to Niagara falls a few years ago -
I think the name of the hotel that we stayed at was the Fox Skyline Hotel. It was pretty nice.
ETA: I just wanted to add that when i went i realized there isnt much to do at Niagara falls - we stayed for 3 days and two nights - and we thought that was more than enough. It is really commercialized.

Just don't forget the US dollar is slightly stronger than the Canadian dollar right now.
So if it says $100 CAD it's more like $75 USD
Just a thought.
Canada and Argentina are really the last two places the US Dollar is still worth more than local currency. Heh.
