One of my best friends from HS. She is divorced now and she is totally against weddings and anything related to them. When I called her the night I got engaged to tell her..she was all distracted and not paying attention, so I was like is everything ok? She goes yeah, I m watching greys. Needless to say since then we don't really talk anymore. When we went out after I got engaged, she didn't even ask to see my ring. This girl was like a sister to me at one point. It really hurt but If you're so wrapped up in yourself that you can't even pretend to be happy for your best friend, I don't need you in my life. I originally wanted to have her as my MOH but now I don't even think I'm inviting her to the wedding.

MIL and DH's sister (I refuse to call her SIL because she told me that me marrying her brother doesn't make me her family )

That is the least of it...she also called me an evil stepmother to SD and told me I have the 'wit of a cockroach and the intelligence of a toddler'...she feels no need to apologize for any of those things, either.
I hate her freakin guts...and apparently she learned from the best (MIL)...she hasn't outright insulted me like that but she might as well have called me a stupid, selfish, spoiled NY Jew brat from all the veiled insults she hurls at me.

only one person so far surprisingly. A friend of mine from HS. Since my son was born, they have not called, sent a text, msg on facebook...nothing. Not one congrats, and I have known this person since I am 14 and we used to be really close. Oh well. I have no use for them anymore. One less person to pay for!!
i was going to say the same thing but unforunately she showed to his christening and told me it was as nice as she expected for the amount of money i paid

FIL's...not a dime, card..etc since our Engagement in Dec. '08..and our E-Party was just this past Sat..and..zippo!...ps my parents are paying for the hall and basically let us live rent free to save as much as we can... I am just very hurt for FH
*FSIL her husband are very helpful and giving though love them <3
