We were together 9 years In fairness to him I was 17 and he was 21 when we met

Same here. It was one month before 9 years when he proposed. But like Lori, we were young when we met. I was 17, he was 19.

same with us. we were together 3 days short of 8 years when he proposed & we will be together 10 years, 1 month & 3 days when we get married.

i was 16 & FH was 17

It's not me, we were together almost 3 1/2 yrs when he proposed... but wanted to share a funny story!

You know that couple that was on the news and talk shows because he put her ring in the wendy's frosty and she swallowed it?? Well they said on the Today show that they'd only known each other for 6 months, were dating for 2 1/2 months, and now they're getting married this May! Now THAT'S early.

Also my friend from growing up, her hippie parents in Nevada knew each other for like 2 weeks before they got married, they're been together 25 years.

LOL well im a dork too with dates!! i know our engagement was 2 days shy of 2.5 years

im crazy w/dates n numbers...i dont even have to look at the wedding countdown to know how many days lol its that bad
