Who here does Eyebrow Threading

Do u girls do this or have you done this? Where do u get it done?

I do it and I love it! I go to an Indian salon on Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park.

Here's a secret.... shhhh...
Two days before the wedding I went to get mine done...and my DH & Dad decided to do theirs too!

Not anymore than waxing or plucking. I think it's so much better. Cleaner looking too!

I tried it- I thought it hurt more then waxing and she didn't shape them as nice

I decided to stick to waxing

i've done it. now usually what i do is do a mixture of both. waxing for shaping and then threading to clean it up.

I just started getting it done. I think it grows in quicker then waxing but I continue to get it done because I like the shape it gives my eyebrows.

I just started doing it and i LOVE it. I can't get waxed or pluck b/c my skin is so sensitive and I'm red for literally a week but threading is so much better b/c it doesn't pull your skin. The girl who did it said the left side hurts more than the right, but it barely hurt, prolly about the same as plucking, but I will never go back to plucking or waxing again!

I also get mine done in New Hyde Park. I have been doing it for 3 years and I love it. I have very senstive skin so the threading works great for me. I definetly recommend it.

I used to go waxing....then tried getting my brows threaded.....its hurts the same....but the threading doesnt irritate my skin the way waxing did...i would always break out...

I get it done in Lynbrook, my hair dresser does it...and a GREAT job i might add

I get mine done at this place near Ikea...

I know they just opened a place across the st from the Source Mall...

I don't know where you are located... But I believe there was another thread about this and it listed tons of locations.

I go to 2 places in Bayside, one right on Bell near 36th street. ($6.25!!!)

The other in Bay terrace Christie & Co salon (12.50)

I get threaded in a place in Lynbrook next to the church there on Merrick Road right near Peninsula Blvd. I don't know the name of the place. It hurts but it's fast and worth it.

threading is great! i do a mix of waxing and threading, but threading is good for sensitive skin.....no redness after!!!

I get it done, it is great as a matter of fact I just got it done on Friday. I go to this place called HARNASH I believe it cost $6.00 they are located in Huntington. Let me know if you want the number I have it programed in my cell phone. I love it!! I have been doing it for a year. I got my girlfriends into it, we go together.
