Just my opinion,
Flowers by Brian, is great if you want large or tall displays, his work is outstanding, but he's $$$$. I do feel you get what you pay for with him.
Flowers by Michelle, from my research, priced right, and work is good. But I haven't seen their flowers upclose, so I'd say check them out.

I love Flower Michelle. They gave me a price that no one could beat and they are so nice there. I have seen and been to a ton of weddings that they have done and it is breathe taking. I love them. I can't say it enough.

I don't know who is better, but Flower Michelle gave be a better quote than Flowers by Brian.

I did not meet with Flower Michelle so I can't comment. But Flowers by Brian has been amazingly awesome - everyone there is so nice to work with and so creative and accommodating and patient! They also do this really cool thing where they put tule (sp?) with lights on the ceiling of the hall, decorate the wedding cake, etc. I do not think they were expensive at all and quite frankly he quoted me LESS than the quotes I got from two other reputable florists.

He used TONS TONS TONS of rose petals as accents all around the reception hall...even in the bathrooms!
His prices are great, service is wonderful and he is so enthusiastic about weddings. Give him a visit!

I used Flower Michele--And John was AWESOME!! I actually used the same low centerpiece posted above along with some high ones. Let me tell you Flowers by Brian quoted me double what FLower Michele did for the same exact flowers b/c he said 'I was killing him with a wedding 1 week after V-Day, and do I know how difficult it is to get Black Magic roses after V-day?' BS if you ask me.
John is amazing to work with and so accomodating. I swtiched things around so many times, and he took it all in stride. You will not be disappointed!

I had Perfect weather, so I am wishing the same for you!!! (It was supposed to rain that day). And it was 50 degrees--not bad for mid-Febuary!!

I haven't worked with Flowers by Brian, but like others on this list, I could endlessly come up with fabulous things to say about John at Flowers Michele. I was supposed to get married several years ago, but the engagement was called off. Even in that situation, John was by far the most accomodating, personal, understanding and kind person. Besides the fact that his flowers were beautiful and he quoted us a great deal (IMO)

I will let you know what Flowers by Michelle quote me since I'm meeting them this Saturday and I already met with Flowers by Brian, I actually met with a great florist that Im might go with and she was fairly inexpensive, Tribute Floral - Lisa some other girls have used her and have been happy, contact her by checking out her website www.longislandweddings.com, I think thats it...

We met with flowers by brian, and didnt care for them really at all. We felt completely rushed, the whole meeting took about 20 minutes, he took us into the fridge, picked like 3 different colored roses that IMO didnt look good together AT ALL (all i said was that i wanted 'fall colors, yellows, reds, burnt orange, etcl' and the guy didnt really pick on of those!) He kind of rushed us in our decision, wrote the colors on the quote he gave us, and didnt crack a smile, not once. we didnt have many church flowers, i think i had 20 tall cp's and the usual parents, bridal party flowers etc. it came to over 3600, and this was for all roses, which i wasnt even sure i wanted!!!!!!! Maybe it was just an off night, but we were fairly turned off by all of this. then about a month later, they called to see if we were interested in meeting with them, that they got our name from our CH, i guess they had no idea we had already been there lol. Their flowers are beautiful, and it was my first flower quote so i dont know if that is considereed 'good' or not, but our personalities just didnt 'click'. Again, JMO

Brian was cheaper when I went to check them out. I would have went with Brian because I liked his work better.
