who is coming / came to your wedding that you hoped would not come?

There are a few people who we 'had' to invite that we hoped would not come:

1) FH's Brothers' wife's mom and boyfriend
2) FH's cousin who is a nice enough person but very very weird and kind of disturbed - I'm a bit scared that he'll make a scene.

how bout you ladies? who were you forced to invite that you really hope won't be coming?

Ugh, my landlady. But surprisingly she didn't pull me to the side and chew my ear off. She seemed to be genuinely happy to be there (she's in the background of all the church aisle pics smiling like a crazy person) and she had a good time, but still left early.

All the REAL crazies on my mom's side didn't show, THANK GOD!

ETA: And by real crazies I mean missing teeth, fall down drunk, throw a chair through a window, insist on singing bad karaoke all night kinda crazy.

My dad's cousins son (and his wife). I've only met my dad's cousin a handful of times in my life... and I met his daughter once a few years ago.

But at my engagement party he told me and my dad that we have to invite his son- i didn't even know he had a son!! And of course my dad automatically agreed to invite them. I thought maybe I could send out my invites and pretend I forgot... but 2 days later he left his son's address on my parents answering machine.

My Aunt from Mississippi! She is just so full of drama, and such a know it all. I was so happy when she told me she wasn't coming. Then a month ago I found out she has a re-occurrence of breast cancer so I felt awful even thinking that.

FH's old friends .. one particular couple who we havent spoke to in over a year after the guy said to me 'FUKC YOU' and his girlfriend sat on FH's lap to be a cutn and then said 'well I better get my legs out of your crotch' .. UM - YEAH BITHC I THINK YOU REALLY SHOULD ..

That was at the guys surprise party last year and we walked out and never spoke to them again - but because FH used to be great friends with the guy he feels that he HAS TO invite this couple...

they dont come !!!!!!!!!

FBIL and his oh so charming wife. I'm hoping she's knocked up and can't travel or something. That would be best case scenario for me.
