I dont think we are b/c we wanted to get to RH to take all pics before CH so we can be a aprt of the CH....not positive yet though

after the ceremony stand by the doors and as everyones leaving they say congrats to you and your parents are usually standing there somewhere.

We are doing a little recptiony thing at my house (down the block from the church), were calling it 'tea time' after the ceremony so thats where we'll say hi to everyone..then off to the RH!!

i figured we'd do one at the church..but the photographer is afraid we won't have enough daylight for pics.. so since im going to attend my CH maybe i can just do it there? i haven't figured it all out yet.. if we have enough time at the church i will do one

i dont think you can do a receiving line if you are having the ceremony at the RH. FH did not want to do one at all - but I always thought it was a little rude not to have the receiving line, especially at Church.....but I guess since we are having our ceremony at the RH we can get out of doing it - yay!

At the church YES., everyone comes over to congratulate you.....=) Thats were some guests who are not coming to the reception give you their gift/ congratulate you and wish you well.

I'm not - same thing as above - our CH is our Chapel too :)

BUT - a friend of mine did something I LOVED...so i thought i'd share.

In the program - it requested that after the ceremony, you remain in your seats. First her parents & his parents came through all the pews...then Jenny & her Hubby came through all the pews and said thank you to everyone. It was such a nice touch & guaranteed that you got to see the bride & groom right after....
