We are doing a secret santa at work. But we all had to write down 3 things we want that are $20 or under. So i'm either getting a yankee candle, the new josh groban CD or... I can't remember the 3rd thing!

the dept i work in is pretty small and we all get along well. so we all get each other a trinket for the holidays. i need to knit three more gifts, and then i'm done.
i can't wait.
as far as the whole company, we play 'dirty santa' at the holiday party. for that, i got two bottles of wine (left over from the wedding) (no one needs to know WHEN i bought them)

We just did ours last night.
I got a Sephora GC. Yummy make up.
I got someon who I know loves to bake, a cookie press, a cookie decorating kit, rolling pin and holiday whisk and spatula. gotta love target.

i dont know how you guys organize it, but maybe next year have everyone write down their names and gift suggestions for them on a piece of paper and pick out of a hat. then, the person who receives their name can see what that person wants.
i.e. my lady loves dress barn so i bought her a sweater set there - if she hadnt said she loved dress barn i never would have guessed where she shops!

That's how it 'USED' to work in my office with a price value of $15 but over time some people got gifts not worse more than $5.00 while some people got gift for over $25 value. So I don't want to participate anymore.

My office is doing it although its not so 'secret'. The 'secret' lasts about two days before everyone knows who they got. The limit is $20 so I bought a Mariah Carey calendar on Ebay for exactly that amount for my coworker whos in looove with her.

I revolted against it this year and convinced everyone to adopt a needy family on Long Island instead.
I am pretty excited about it. I drop off a basket for them on Monday.

I organized ours, a small one- just 9 of the girls in my department. I cheated to get the girl I wanted. I think I may get get her a GC to Expressions.

I bought tickets to his concert here in Dallas. I am flying my mom in from Florida. The ticket is her Christmas present. She is going to be so excited once she opens her present.
