Hi ladies!! My Mom and I went to finalize things with the catering hall and they informed us that they do not carry the Wicker Chair and we would have to rent them. Now i really don;t want to rent chairs for $98 total (including shipping). Are the Wicker chairs in style still??? FH and I might use the chairs that everyone else is sitting in (irvory chair covers and gold bows)

i didnt want to visit any rh with them bc i knew the hall itself wouldnt be updated

Not to offend anyone at all, because it's just my personal opinion, but if I booked a place that had wicker chairs for the bride and groom, I would have paid to get something else!
I say, save yourself the money. I don't think they're in style for weddings at all. I know people still rent them for baby showers and decorate them, but not weddings.

I don't think they are in style either. I would just use the same chairs that everyone else is using. JMO

my opinion - I find them to be very dated and quite uncomfortable. Regular chairs, as you said, with chair covers and bows will also be easier to manuever your dress around.

Thanks Girls!!! I figured as much with them being out dated plus FH and I are havning the Arch behind us with lights. Thanks I appreicate everyone's advise.

i voted no... if you like them, go for it, but they dont look that comfy to me! we're setting up our dais in front of 2 french doors to have a nice backdrop for the toast pix. other than that, we're really not going to be sittin there anyway

People still use those? I also feel they are dated. I know my cousin used them YEARS ago and it snagged her dress and it pulled it. I would def think this over

No if there's nothing wrong with the chairs at the place just use them. I liked the chairs at my hall, so I'm not using any covers. Hopefully that won't change by the time I get married.
