TUXEDOS!? We originally planned to use Mens Wearhouse in Patchogue but were less than satisfied with the service so we're switching. We were very happy with the service at Karako - anybody using them? I've also heard good things about Roger's Tuxedos in Smithtown. Just wanted to get an idea of who everyone is using and if anyone has information about Karako and/or Rogers. Thanks you for your help!!

Mens Warehouse... We went to 3 different ones (Lake Grove, Westbury and Brooklyn) and everyone was nice and very helful.

We're using Mens Wearhouse as well and found them to be very helpful and accommodating.

Tuxedo Park!! We love it there, lots of choices, Bob really knew what he was talking about. Yes we paid slightly more than at another place but we feel very well taken care of and there is a tailor on sight so if the guys need adjustments when they pick it up its done n the spot. They also host a fitting party for the guys with beer and snacks for them!

We've not picked a place, but has anyone ever used Victor Talbots? Mens Wearhouse was a mess for us, so we're not going there. FI is abroad so getting his stuff there, but my dad and brother need to get something similar here...

my FBIL used Rogers for his wedding a year ago and they had no problems. I am not sure how up to date their styles are though- the tux they got had pleated pants. FH bought his at Sarar. If i am buying a new expensive dress, why should he walk down the aisle in a $60 rental

we have our appointment with them on saturday! im very excited - the owner was a sweetheart over the phone. am also going to check out rsvp in bayshore bc a friend recommended them. am hoping we can stick with foresto though :)

We went to Rogers in Centereach to check it out and FH LOVEEEED it. They actually just closed their Smithtown location... so their entire stock is at the Centereach store (right on 25).
But unlike men's warehouse Rogers keeps their entire stock of tuxedos in the store, so when the guys go to pick up their tuxedos if something doesn't fit, they can easily exchange it. Not the same with men's warehouse, or other chains like that where the various pieces are shipped from a warehouse.
