Crystal....my dad shoveled at 5 and when I got home at six, I actually said ' you know you could have shoveled' and he got mad and insisted he had. but when he looked outside, he agreed, it looked like it hadnt been touched!
It was snowing so bad in NYC that I couldnt see 2 feet in front of me walking to the subway!

But think of the positives. the beautiful pictures that can be taken. I feel so christmasy right now, that I kind of wish I was getting married in this weather.

i think getting married with all of this snow is so romantic......i'm definately jealous....if i wasn't a teacher - i'd have gotten married in the winter no question!

I agree, the pictures will be beautiful, but think about the amount of no-shows at the reception. Some people will not even leave their house when it snows.

Late yesterday afternoon my fiance looked out the window and there was a hummer limo a few houses down. We continued to look to see what the limo was for and there she was - a girl in her wedding gown, held up to her knees so she woulnd't get it wet. Everyone was holding umbrellas for her. The wind was blowing all over the place. I felt bad - but then again - she will have awesome pics.

I hope that doesn't happen to me!!

white wedding should be beautiful, but too bad this snow melts on contact, sticks to make up and makes everything slippery.

I am going to a wedding today! My friend is getting married and is not letting any of this bother her. She has been getting a lot of cancellations already, even from her own hair lady. She is going to have to find someone else last minute or do her own hair. I feel bad but she is not upset at all. I am looking forward to having a good time and so is she.

I had an appointment today with Jack and Rose...but I cancelled because of weather. He said that they were in the shops since 4 am because they had 9 weddings to do today! Good luck to all this weekend's brides...don't let the snow bother you. The people who love you will be there for you!


ETS: Jack had 9 weddings this weekend, not for Saturday. He only does 1 per day. Sorry if that confused anyone.

We are going to a wedding tomorrow where DH is the best man(noone from here). I think it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow at least. I think it could make for some beautiful pictures........hopefully getting there won't be too horrendous

Good luck to all the brides getting married today, like someone said, everyone that loves you will be there.
I think my shower is tomorrow, and I am hoping that it clears up by the morning.
Think of all the nice pictures all the brides will have from the snow.
