we were planning on going to SoBe but it got way too expensive since everyone pays their own way. I have no idea what we're doing now since its a surprise but I know its local.
Another one of my friends is having her bachelorette in Miami and her mom is picking up the hotel for everyone - 25 girls! (but that is rare - they are from Beverly Hills and extrememly wealthy).

I've gone to Montuak for the past 2 summers for b-barties and we have all paid for our own hotel accomodation but the bride to be didn't pay for dinner when we took her out and we bought her drinks etc. It's alot to ask the bridal party to pay for hotels etc on top of everything else in my opinion.

We just booked a trip to South Beach for my friends bachlorette party. The bridal party is chipping in to pay her airfare and hotel (we have a huge suite) and then the other girls coming down are chipping in on the hotel. And of course dinner and drinks down there. We got a really good deal so dividing up the amount was pretty cheap per person. But it can get expensive!

I think when you are part of a wedding it gets so expensive! But so worth the honor!

I am going to FL next month for a friend's bachelortte and everyone is paying their own way. I am sure we will pay for dinner and drinks down there for the bride. Maybe if it was Atlantic City or the Hamptons it would be different.

FH is going to Vegas and he paid his ticket and they'll chip in for his room.. there's like 30 of them going!! big twouble! lol

I went to San Diego for mine...we got a good deal on site59.com...we each paid our own way (they may have offered...but I would not have felt right about it)
DH went to AZ...I think he paid for his airfare...but they all stayed at his mom's ranch

My MOH and I are going to London for a long weekend, but we are also doing one in the city for all of my friends.
Me and my MOH are paying our own way in London and (i think) all my friends are chipping in for the NY one....

We went to Vegas for mine in Feb
and my girls paid for my hotel and flight.
I paid for food and stuff there, but would say they spent more on me there then I had to btw food, drinks and all, some more then others of course. It was great fun and I needed it

Well, So far I think we are all going to New Orleans for the bachelorette and bachelor parties. I am not crazy about the idea because it is going to be expensive. But my FH says don't worry about the cost, the BP pays for us. So, I guess it is all up to the BP what we do. If they pay, I will go. I am just affraid this trip will leave out a lot of my friend and family that I would like to be there. I guess I will find out in a few months.

Myself, Maid & Matron OH, 1 BM & a few other girlfriends are going to New Orleans for the Essencefest July 3-6 weekend! We can not WAIT just booked our hotel & airfare this week![]()

But I don't expect them to pay my airfare & hotel - none of us are rich and they have other wedding expenses coming up like dresses, shoes, my bridal shower & we'll have a NYC bachleorette party as well so I can party with my friends/fam who can't afford to go to New Orleans. My sister (MOH) wanted to go to SOBE since she and her boyfriend have an apartment down there. I requested that we stay local. I'd rather hit the east end (Sag Harbor and/or the wineries.)

We were going to go away originally but couldn't decide on a location b/c my friends are all into different things!
Needless to say...FH is going to Vegas w. his buddies this month and I'm going to SoBe this month as well! Not really bachelor/ette parties but kind of on last va-ca with friends.
Since my wedding isn't until September...I have a feeling we'll probably do a night in Fire Island or out east at the wineries over the summer...

I'd like to go away. By the time of the wedding I'll be living in FL (my matron lives there) where everyone will be here in NY (except one who is in NJ)
I'd like to go maybe atlantic city for the weekend or a weekend at a spa.

I just remembered this. My friend was in a bridal party and the bride paid for hotel and airfare for all of them to go to New Orleans. What a nice bride!!
