I'm a leonard's bride and I recently decided to have my ceremony there, is anyone else in the same boat? How do you go about decorating, do they do it for you? Do you have to pay the DJ to do the ceremony music as well?

Im doing my ceremony at Jericho Terrace. Ive seen the ceremony room decorated with just flowers centerpieces on the pillars. The arch is beautiful so it doesnt need much. Im not gonna go crazy cause were only going to be in that room for a half hour tops. I think you have to let the DJ know he would have to do the ceremony music now too. I dont know if it would be extra. HTH

At the JT, they provide a plain arbor, columns down the aisle and chairs, my florist is decorating (minimal). Tulle and flowers on the arbor and candles on the columns.

i'm and JT and doing the ceremony there as well ... they don't really decorate for you but the place is really nice without any decorations anyways ... my dj included ceremony and cocktail hr for free

We're having our ceremony at the RH. I don't think the RH is providing us with any type of decorations...so I may make some petal cones to put along the aisle and the florist is making a flower decoration for the arch. We bought an arch at Michael's that was on sale for $16 (it's usually $40!). It was cheaper than paying $200 to rent it from the florist.
We actually hired a flute trio to play for the ceremony and cocktail hour and then the DJ will take over at the reception..

I work right next door to Leonards-such a beautiful place.
I am having my ceremony at my RH. The DJ said ceremony music comes in the package. Since we're not having it outdoors, it will be in the reception room (tables taken out) and then we go to the CH and they switch it around. I dont know about decorations though. I will have a chuppah so i think thats all the decorations I will do.

I am having my CH at the RH as well.
My RH is quite ornate, so we won't be doing too much decorating, maybe some pillar candles on the fireplace mantel in the room where the CH will be held.
Our band has offered to supply a harpist and/or pianist to play for the CH for no extra cost, but I think I would prefer to hire a string duet/quartet.

My ceremony is at the RH as well.
We are having a chupah made by the florist and other than that no decorations.
We payed for the DJ for the whole thing. They have someone that does violin and flute. It's just the DJ for CH and reception.

I'm getting married at RH. Every RH is different so you really have to check with yours. Mine doesn't provide anything. And we're having our DJ do the ceremony music and it's a little additional for the extra half hour of time. Your RH might have some sort of sound system that you could use if you could get someone to man it, or maybe a worker there could man it for you.

I'm doing the same....
Fox Hollow sets up a chapel room for you...full of flowers and toile(sp?) - but there's a charge for it..we were fine with that though. I've seen pics and it's lovely!
My DJ is also is doing the ceremony music & didn't charge me extra for that or the cocktail hour. His price was all inclusive....LOVE HIM!

we're having our ceremony at the RH. my florist will decorate this for me, just as if it were a church. i am having a string trio come in to do ceremony music but you could use the DJ too.

My ceremony is at my RH, the rooms are connected or next to each other. The RH takes care of decorating and we are paying the band a little extra to provide music for the ceremony.

If you are doing a ceremony there, they usually charge you a fee. Mine includes the runner, floral spray for gazebo and isle flowers that they have outside or probably my cps used inside. Im not sure if they all charge and include different things.
I may add little satin bows with flowers for the first 10 isles but my florist will do that. (the quote was like $200 for 10, places every other row for 10 rows)
The DJ charges a fee also b/c its a seperate system they set up (smaller).

We're having our ceremony at the RH. They provide decorations and flowers for the ceremony, but I may wind up paying them a little extra because I don't really like some of the elements of the decor and I want to change it slightly.

dj usually throws in free music or its a low fee to do it extra. We had ours throw it in for free.
Decorations - basically i may do a dyi arch other then that nothing extra. Really doesn't need it the ceremony lasts 15 mins if that.
