Re: who is having ushers, in addition to groomsmen??
I am. My cousin and my brother. They will direct people to the proper side of the church at the ceremony, encourage guests to take programs/send-offs, and help to organize the receiving line. They will be wearing the same tuxes/vests as the GMs which I don't agree with, but that's what Men's Wearhouse said was standard and FH wanted it that way. And they will be attending the RD, though they would've been invited even if they weren't going to be ushers. My cousin is like a brother to me.

me. they're my brothers. we wanted them to be part of the wedding party but we had to try our darndest to stick to our 1 MOH and 1Best man policy. so we made them ushers and im making them rent tuxes. so they would def. come to the RD since they do play a role in the ceremony. eta i dont think its necessary for users to wear tuxes, but since my usjers r my brothers im afraid of what they would choose on their own.

I'm having 4 ushers ( 2 boys and 2 girls).
If the weather is beautiful my vision will play out perfectly. I'm banking on an outdoor ceremony.
The usherettes will distribute the programs and greet people at the front. I have them in 2 different positions.
The 2 boys will seat people and they will escort the grandmothers directly to their seats during the processional.
They will be wearing the same suits as the groomsmen; the only thing that will distinguish them is their boutonnières.
