Who is invited to the E-party?

Who is invited to the E-party?

I have no idea who to invite. We are having ours in a beautiful room that hold up to 100 people, but is fine with 50 also. I am having about 100 people at my wedding. Do I just invite my whole guest list? Just close family and friends? Seems like I only invited close family and friends to my wedding in the first place.

Here's another question (maybe a stupid one, but I honestly don't know). FH and I are not inviting people from work to our wedding to keep it small (and we are at faily new jobs so aren't close to anybody) Can we invite people from work to our engagement party that are not coming to our wedding? Is our e-party wedding guests only?

I did only immediate family only because it would have been way too many people otherwise, we had about 80 people

Only people invited to the wedding should be invite to the eparty. They will assume they are invited.

We started with a smaller guest list but ended up pretty much inviting the entire wedding guest list anyway!! but many won't come.

FH invited an old HS friend that we weren't going to invite to the wedding (that I didn't want to invite) and he ended up coming..... now I am mad because he thinks he is invited to the wedding. FH says he'll forget about it but I don't think so! Grr. So yes, don't invite others, they will assume they are invited to the wedding.

Typically family and bridal party are invited to e-party...maybe a few other close friends. I wouldn't invite anyone not invited to the wedding..it isn't pc.

We invited family (we both have relatively small families) and our BP to our e-party. It was around 40 people. IMO I wouldn't invite anyone that you're not planning on inviting to the wedding... it will just give them the impression that they will be invited.
