Because today is a Jewish holiday and all my Jewish co-workers left early. I am the only one still here, cause I gotta finish something! I wanna be a good Jewish girl, but I can't!

Oh.
Sorry that stuff always confuses me.


Being that I didnt grow up in NYC area I am still kinda lost on all those jewish holidays. This one lady who swears she was a jew backed into our car on this one holiday where you have to be home by nightfall. She seemed so earnest and had a jewish name.. car was in her mothers name. We got her insurance info..she swore she'd pay.. and we called in the claim. Not the cops cause they she'd be all unjewish or something.

Needless to say we got s*crewed. She said we rearended her. FH's insurance skyrocketed and unfortunately a few months later the car was stolen. Due to HER accident that wasn't resolved, he was considered high risk and now pays nearly $5k in insurance yearly. Im NOT happy.

In Texas, they never left early. But travel home was faster there. They also never took days off. Its just different here, I guess.

Well, we try to respect our Holidays here, but it doesn't alway work out! Like in my case tonight!
