I'm not seeing FH before our ceremony either and we're getting married at the RH. I'll definitely be missing cocktail hour because our photog wants an hour and a 1/2 with us! I know it would make way more sense to do pics before, but we really want the 1st time we see each other to be when I'm walking down the aisle. Also, I think before the ceremony we're both going to be nervous and the pics won't look as genuine as after.

I won't be seeing FH until I walk down the aisle either. We also added 1/2 hr. on to the cocktail hour. Also, our photographer is really good and fast, we worked with him for our epics, and I don't want a ton of posed pics anyway, so we should be able to do them within 45 mins and still have 45 mins of the CH.

I am not seeing him before the Ceremony BUT I HAVE to be at my cocktail hour!

I am not seeing FH before the ceremony. Our church is at 2 pm with no mass and then cocktail hour is not until 6:30. Fortunately we are able to go straight to our RH and take pictures. I am still undecided about going into my cocktail hour or not..maybe at the end for a few minutes.

I'm not going to see him either. It's going to make it so harder to sleep the night before the wedding (I'm going to have to take some Tylenol PM) but I know it'll be worth it when we see each other for the first time.

I know I'm going to have a hard time sleeping the night before the wedding. Definitly going to take a vicodin!

im not seeing fh b4 the ceremony. i want him to see me for the first time walking down the aisle. im not concerned about missing the CH. i dont think anything too eventful will be happening then so its alright with us.

I REAAAAAAAALLLY want to wait to see FH until the ceremony, but I have a medical problem that causes me to pass out when I am really stressed so to be safe, we are going to take pics before the wedding. I am really upset about it though cause one of the things I have always looked forward to is seeing FH's reaction whe he first sees me walk down the aisle.

We are not seeing one another....we are both traditionalists...we are lucky though...we are having a morning ceremony (small number of family and friends) and an evening ceremony later that night (with everyone). Therefore, we will have enough time to take pics and go to cocktail hour...I was thinking about it though....we were so picky with our menu selection for CH and I now can't picture us eating when we have to greet our guests first. It would make us look terrible if we chow down first.....lol

I am seeing FH before the ceremony - we sort of have too. We both need to sign the Ketubah, the jewish marriage document, and that happens before the actual ceremony. But by the time we walk down the aisle, we will already be legally and religiously married.

we're having a quick, secret ceremony b4 our big ceremony, and we won't see each other until then.

im not, ill be sleeping at my moms house the night before and he'll be here at our house....ill see him when im walking down the aisle

wont be seeing FH until I walk down the aisle... thats how I always have wanted it and i love tradition.... we will catch most of our CH ...not worried about that

here's my perspective. i didn't see dh before the ceremony. it was my best decision. it meant so much to see dh for the first time as i was walking down the aisle. they had some food in the bridal suite. during the cocktail our we did our pictures. we were able to enjoy the reception.
