Just wanted an idea... Who is paying for your wedding... Is it the both of you, your family, both families or both families and the two of you?
FH and I are paying for everything ourselves. FH parents are going to give us money for a downpayment on our house after the wedding.
We are paying around 40% and his parents are paying about 55% with my parents paying the last 5%. Unfortunately the just aren't in a financial situation where they can pay more, and FH is an only child so his parents are thrilled to do it.
My parents and us. His mom isn't involved in all the planning stuff. We just ask for her opinions 'sometimes', so she doesn't feel left out.
We are paying for 99% of it, with his parents throwing in a little for the DJ, and my mom paying for my veil and the pics.
Both our parents are paying for the wedding and FH is paying for the Honeymoon..
My mom is paying for almost 1/2 of the reception and his parents are helping with the rest of the '1/2'. Mom also bought my dress. My FI and I are doing absolutely everything else.
