I know there are a few of you on this board.

Where did you get your invitations? I went to a few places and I'm going crazy! I can't find anything I like.

I am! When's/where's your wedding? Mine is July 6, 2003, at Land's End. I haven't done invites yet, but will probably use a vendor I worked with at my old job: Printing Solutions in Sterling. They are a very small, family-owned shop, but I worked with them for years and they always did a good job for a fair price. Wow- you're on the ball! I started my planning that way and my motivation got left behind somewhere! It's a little hard to plan from down here. I'm getting married at Lands End too! My date is 9-8-02!

I looked at all the books in Hallmark, online, and at Papyrus. Papyrus had some really great invittes, but they're SO EXPENSIVE. I'm going to check out a place in Alexandria this weekend.

The normal invites you find in Hallmark stores are nice, but they're just your basic invite. I'm looking for something a little different.

Where in VA do you live? I'm in Arlington. We thought about getting married down here (sure would have been easier!!) but my grandmothers would have never been able to come. I am trying to get as much settled as early as possible so I don't have to think about it anymore! Doing the back-and-forth is so stressful and time-consuming! I work full-time and am a part-time MBA student, so time is definitely of the essence for me!!
