This is my eternal debate w. FH, I want a car for just the two of us, he wants to ride w. the entire bridal party in an Excalibur SUV limo. I told him, this is our only alone time the whole day, he romantically responded that 'he will be with me the whole honeymoon' Seriously, the man is going to make me crazy.

Our ride will be about an hour bet. church and reception, so it may be fun to ride w. whole party. I am just afraid one of the drunken GM will spill something on my dress, or some other horror. Also, I dont want to get too wasted before pics- can you imagine??? 'and here I am, wasted in my wedding dress' As you can see, we are still undecided, w. no limos!

I'm in the exact same situation as you. I am seriously contemplating doing ONE BIG CAR. Why do 2 cars, when we will see each other before the ceremony? I say do it! DO IT! DO IT! :o)

We will be in the limo for like 20 minutes between where we are taking pictures and the reception, so for twenty minutes it seems like a waste of money.

we're leaning towards one big expedition/hummer limo, but it needs to be able to hold a small army (9 on his side, 9 on mine plus us!)



It's going to be big fat wasp wedding!

Meghan, LMAO We have 12 in the BP, not including us.

I feel like I want a little romance time w. my FH. But I KNOW I will be annoyed if he is sulking about all his friends partying and us in a car alone. Plus it will save money. The other option is to get 2 limos, and split the bridal party, some w. us and some in the other car. But I think that will be expensive.

On your wedding day, the only time you are alone with your FH the whole day is in the limo. I recommend getting your own car. You are going to be hanging with your friends the whole day.

We got our own....we both wanted a few minutes to ourselves and also, I didn't want to get my dress wrinkled sharing a limo with 16 other people.

We're riding w/the BP. We both agreed it would be so much fun. And I feel like I'm having these people in my BP because they mean something to me and I would like to spend some time with them, otherwise at the reception we'll be mingling with everyone and after I'm spending my whole life with FH, so why do I need to see him alone for the 45 min ride to the hall. JMO. But I do want to ride to the church with just my parents.

It is a 40 minutes drive from my church to the hall, so the BPis riding in their limo and me and DH are going to be riding in our own car.

We are doing the same thing. Pics before ceremony, and getting married at hall. The whole wedding party is going to ride together! In and H2! I can't wait! The parents and jr BM & FG & RB will ride together in a seperate limo, so they don't have to hear our vulgar language and deal with the smoke! It is going to be a party before the party! 24 people!

I am SOOO torn on this. On one hand, I really want to hang w. all our friends, but on the other hand I want some alone time w. FH. It may come down to money, I have to start getting some quotes.

For some reason I don't like Rolls Royces, maybe if it was a car I liked, the maybe I would want my own, but to pay for a car I think is ugly bothers me!

I am not up to limos yet, but I would prefer for FH and myself to have our own limo after the ceremony, it will probably be the only moments of the whole day that we have alone together and it will be nice to have that time to absorb the fact that we were just married!!

We are riding alone. FH suggested it and since it will be our only time alone - its a good idea.

we are riding alone. we put the entire BP in one big limo, and everybody knows everybody. FI and i want that time alone.

I am in the same boat - i think we are doing 1 limoe for all bp - then one pickup/drop off for my mom.

I plan on doing it with the bridal party - we are all really close and I just want to enjoy the day with everyone!!!
