I am seeing FH before the ceremony too. We decided that we wanted to enjoy the cocktail hour and we wanted our bp to be able to enjoy the cocktail hour as well.

EXACTLY!!! we plan on greeting most of the people then, so we dont have to worry about it, and also the BP can enjoy the CH also!!!

no , so after the ceremony we can go to the cocktail hour... otherwise we would be taking pics and missing it. so our pics are all going to be before the ceremony

we did!!!!!!!
it was great--so happy we did it that way cause it made the moment private and special. we have pro pics in my album of the 'reveal' moment and it calmed our nerves sooooooooo much!

thats what we are doing also with our photographer, something set up for when we first see each other. !!!

We are absolutely seeing each other before! Gonna set up a 'reveal' moment with the photographer, so it will still me really special IMO. For me, it doesn't matter when the first time he sees me all ready to go on our wedding day is, it will be special and amazing no matter what.
Plus, we can eat all that yummy food at the CH, spend more time schmoozing with family and friends, and then have more time to really relax and party at the reception because we will have already done meet-and-greets at the CH!

We are seeing each other .
We have scheduled our pictures before the ceremony, because we are getting married at the RH and don't have that lovely gap between ceremony and reception. We also want to enjoy our CH and to have a chance to talk with our guests.

my FH is the same way!! he insisted on being at the CH, and i have to say i agree - so we are taking pics before i still want that shot of him seeing me for the first time though!!

We are planning on going to our CH - I REALLY don't want to miss it. And there's no way we want to see each other before the ceremony (in fact, he keeps saying that after our rehearsal dinner 2 nights before, he won't see me until I walk down the aisle).
But we have a gap between the ceremony and reception, so we *should* be able to take pics in between and still make the cocktail hour.

We are seeing each other before hand, I am not missing CH, we even added a 1/2 hour, cause I'm saying hello to most everyone there and NOT table hopping at the reception, just dancing!!!

We will be seeing each other before the ceremony too. We both want to be there for CH, and that is immediately after the ceremony. It works out better for the days schedule, and also, I know my nerves will be shot that morning, so seeing him will for sure calm me down.

We're waking up together & taking our pics before the ceremony because we dont want to miss the cocktail hour. The food is too good to pass up & we fugured it would give us more time with our guests. Things will get too hectic once the night starts so it just made sense to us to do it that way. I dont want to miss a minute of that night. I paid too much to not be there for all of it!! lol

Yes and No
I was planning at staying at my Moms the night before the wedding and FH freaked out! He said 'you have to sleep at home the night before the wedding, we don't sleep well without each other!' I told him we aren't supposed to see each other before the ceremony and he said 'we can't see each other dressed '
So we will see each other in the AM and then I head to my Moms to get ready
