Who is supposed to pay for....

The wedding bands (rings) ?
this might be a stupid question but....
Am i suposed to pay for his and he pay for mine?
i just heard from the jeweler the cost and my jaw dropped! His is more than double the cost of mine! (his is obviously bigger)
I was under the impression that i pay for his and he pays for mine, but now i don't think i can afford it!! And now i'm upset because we love the rings. (sorry no picture)

Every list of wedding finance responsibilities I have ever seen shows that grooms are supposed to pay traditionally but I suppose you have to do what is best for you.

We are just paying for them together from our money. We dont even have 'his' and 'her' money anymore, its all one big mess

DH paid for his and most of mine. Does your DH's have diamonds or something? My DH's was a lot less $$$ than mine was (mine has diamonds, his does not).

DF paid for mine and I paid for his. Mine was platinum so it cost a little more, but DF got white gold and it was almost the same price as my platinum wedding band. In platinum his ring would have been almost 4x the amout og white gold because of its size.

they were paid for out of the wedding fund....which was out money pooled together

We are both paying for our rings as well. Not he pays for mine and I pay for his. But remember, he paid fully for that beautiful rock you are wearing now.

We put it on FH's credit card that we don't have to pay back till next year. For some reason I wanted him to buy it (even if it's 'our' money).

He's paying for mine, I'm paying for his, and his costs more than mine and has no diamonds.. urgh! It's platnium and titanium.. it's beautiful mine has diamonds and is about $500 less than his..
