who is supposed to send out rehersal dinner invites

So, my FMIL is paying for the rehersal dinner. But, I dont know if she knows to send the invitations. She sent me a package with the direction cards and my invites went out 2 weeks ago. I seriously cannot handle anything else on my plate. Who is really supposed to take care of this?

I would. I meant to ask my FILs about this (they are here now but we saw them last night for the last time before they drive back down to FL) but kept forgetting. I don't think it's a huge deal. How many people are you inviting? Can you print some up on your computer? Vista Print is always giving away the store, maybe you could do them there????

i guess i just feel like im starting to bug out because i am doing all my DYI stuff and running around I just feel like I cant do it.

You can do it. Maybe there is a friend that can help with the rehearsal dinner invites? You could even just go buy a few packs of invites at CVS and ask your BMs to write them out for you. Give them your address list and say 'please do this for me, thank you.' that's what they are there for.

Maybe you could keep it super simple and use evite.com it is free, manages your guests and is is perfectly acceptable to send an electronic evite in 2008. I used it for fh's surprise 30th, and a now our group of friends uses it for all sorts of events !

I would love to do that but, not everyone is email savy some oldies are invited.

I think the bride and groom usually do it. But if you need someone else to help out- Im sure you can just ask them...

MY FIL's are paying too, so I feel obligated to send them out. Ask your BMs to help you. The one thing I am learning as my date approaches (31 days) is DELEGATING. Ask for help. I have a control problem and always need to be doing things myself, but at this time in my life, I just can't do everything.

DEF! Help is out there, just ask for it! I was also told that only the people in the bridal party should have a formal invite so that should cut down on the amount to do!

My parents are hosting the RD. I ordered the invites and had them mailed directly to her and then I sent her the directional cards and address lables. All mom has to do is stuff them and send them out.
