I contacted someone from Modern Day Affairs...they quoted me $350 for 2 cordinators. Does this seem cheap? I mean I was a little suprised it isn't that expencive. Here is what they offer: (Sorry so long) Please let me know what you think and if you know ppl who have used them.

In Preparation for the Wedding Day

•Initial consultation with A Modern Day Affair event coordinator
•Unlimited phone and email contact between date of contract and date of wedding
•Attend final reception hall and florist appointments
•Confirm wedding plans with all vendors one week before
•Drop off Out-Of-Town bags to hotels (if needed)
•Attend ceremony rehearsal (up to two hours)
•Create wedding day timeline

The Wedding Day

•One coordinator (up to 12 hours) to arrive at bride’s location to assist in morning preparation•
One coordinator (up to 12 hours) to oversee set up of ceremony and reception locations•
Check bride and groom into wedding night hotel (if needed)
Arrangement of processional and recessional Arrangement of receiving line•Distribution of flowers
Distribution of programs at ceremony
Distribution of rose petals, bird seed, bubbles, etc. after ceremony
Oversee setup of place cards, menu cards, favors, centerpieces
Provide bridal emergency kit
Bustle bride’s gown (if needed)
Distribute vendor gratuities•Collect bride and groom’s personals at the end of the reception
Attend to unforeseen challenges and obstacles that may occur

I am using Cynthia Ross from Cynthia Ross Affairs- $400 - 10 hours - and she will go to your rehearsal

That really is a great deal.

I am using Cynthia ross also. She has been in constant contact with me from the minute i booked her. i had my meeting with her yesterday to go over all of the details of the wedding and I really saw how valueable a DOC is.

don't feel bad - you can't go wrong with Francesca @ Dazzling Affairs. If I had the $950 she wanted from me for my wedding, I would have booked her. We went with Ryan from Above and Beyond instead b/c she was almost half the price. But Francesca has had decades of experience.
