Who is waiting to close and what is your closing date?
We are to close on or about July 31st - When should I get a real closing date? I feel like this is the longest two months of my life!!!
Edited to Add - What town is your house located in? I know some of you are shy about telling the location

We are still waiting to close. Our date was originally June 1st but we aren't closing until next week (we hope). We had alot of problems w/ the sellers not having all their paperwork. It is the longest 3 months of our lives too. I guess once we get in it will be worth it.

My house is located in Selden and our original closing date was on or about 5/15 now it probably wont be until 8/15.

House is in East Northport too...waiting ever so anxiously to close on or about August 15th!!! praying it doesn't get pushed back!! so far so good! can't wait! i am more excited about this than the wedding! maybe there's something wrong with that?

We just closed in centereach! Our contract date was on or about June 1 we closed on June 9th. We didnt find out our closing date until less than 1 week before!
*My newly found advice, go and invest in cleaning products ASAP. We got a ton of cleaning products for my shower and from a friend who gets them free, anyway, That was teh best thing, the day we took possession we were able to start cleaning and no matter how clean you THINK your house will be when the owners move, its never up to your standards!

Thank you so much. We had our final walk through yesterday, and since then I just keep thinking, holy crap, as of Tuesday I am a homeowner and I am responsible for this!

We are in contract on a house in Morris County, New Jersey. So far our closing date is scheduled for 7/26. I hope we don't run into any issues that will push it back.
