Who is wearing a 2nd dress?

I was just wondering how many of you girls are having a 2nd dress. I really didnt want to but I think once I try my dress on I may want to have a 2nd dress for the after party.

I wore a second dress for the last hour of the reception and the after party. We had the video game Rock Band set up as the entertainment for the after party, and kicked it off with a performance by me and DH and our BM! I was the drummer and couldn't drum in my gown, so that was the main reason for changing. I say go for it if you find a cute dress you like that you can afford!

Well we are going bowling afterwards in the city and I thought it would be cool to bowl in my big dress but now I dont know. My dress hopefully will be in on saturday and I will try it on and I will see.

Should I get it in white too?

Cindy you SO have your own funky yet classic style....What do you feel? I think you can do anything you want! Any color, style, or length you want! Here are some pics of after party/reception dresses!!!

The long pink ruffled one is this bride's reception gown!! SWOON!!!! Mine is the short one!!!

I plan on doing a short one but I was thinking of doing it in a color so I could wear it again but then I was thinking it is my wedding and a short white one would be cool and I could still wear it again.

i was thinking of trying to find an inexpensive white short dress to wear for the 'after party' (our wedding is saturday during the day, so we'll prob have a little something afterward). i think it would be cute!

I couldn't imagine wanting to take my dress off EVER...LOL so no I am sticking my dress for the whole night.

I thought about it, but staying in my gown all night.
Its one night of your life you get to wear a magically gorgeous wedding dress!!

I think that, had I went with a ballgown wedding dress I would have thought a lot more seriously about getting a 2nd dress.

I'd rather spend '2nd dress money' on a new purse after we get back from our honeymoon.

I wore a 2nd dress. It was a traditional African garment made for us in Nigeria in honor of my DH Nigerian culture. He changed too. We even had a 2nd enterance song and everything. It was great!

that's awesome!

I didn't wear a second dress...I didn't want to take mine off even when we got back to the hotel so i knew I wouldnt want to take it off that night! I also wouldnt have wanted to leave to change!
