Who is wearing a veil, Who is not?

Who is wearing a veil, Who is not?

I don't seem to like the whole veil thing. I tried a few on when I was finding a dress. I don't like how it feels over my face, and I am not crazy about how it looks on me.

Is there anyone out there who is not wearing a veil? Are you putting flowers in your hair instead?

Thanks!

i'm wearing a veil, but it's very thin and only goes in the very back of my head. it doesn't puff out to the sides at all. in fact you probably won't really be able to see it except from behind. maybe you could try something like that?

I sister hated the idea of wearing one...wanted nothing to do with it. We made her buy one anyway and the day of...she loved it.

I am wearing one. I feel that it just completes the whole look. I feel like a princess when I wear mine. I love it!!!

I am not using a veil. I would like to do flowers but I need to figure out how to do my hair first. I'm having a trial this weekend.

Up until a few weekd ago I was adamant about not having a veil. I am putting dendrobium orchids in my hair (they are small white flowers). I have been back and forth with the whole veil thing and have come to this conclusion - I am going to buy one (very simple 1 tier, 42 in long, light scattered beading); but I am going to see what I feel on the wedding day. IMO it's better to have it and not use it than say 'i wish I had worn a veil'. Good Luck!

I'm wearing a veil but it will be in the back of my head.

Thanks Everyone. I like the idea of the simple veil in the back with light beading. My dress has pearls on it. I am going tonight to look at some. Maybe I will just do the one layer.

I am wearing a veil, the whole night , on top of my head. When I tried it on in the store I loved the way it looked. I felt like a princess.

No Veil I'm getting married outside on the beach in July, so flowers instead.

I didn't wear one either. I just didn't feel the need for it. I had a headpiece that matched my dress and my hairdresses put small silk flowers in my hair for a little something extra. I guess I couldn't rationalize spending over $100 for something I was going to take off after the ceremony.

Wearing a veil, back of my head, the whole day.

I'm actually doing BOTH.. I'm wearing flowers in my hair and wearing a waterfall, ivory, 2 tiered veil.. It won't be on all night though.. It's coming off after the ceremony..

I wore mine for the ceremony, and couldn't wait to rip the thing off!!! It annoyed me soo much, you can see it in my face in the photos of me with it on.

I got a waterfall (i think thats what it is called) 2 tier veil with thin satin edging. I love it and plan to keep it on all night.
