Who is whitening their teeth???

If so, do you know of a good dentist that does not charge an arm and a leg for this procedure. I would like to pay under $500. Thanks!

I'm going to a dentist on Thursday and hoping that he says that I can use Crest WhiteStrips. Has anyone ever used them before?

Ive used the strips, the colgate gel and now the leave on at night stuff. I am LOVING the leave on at night stuff (as you can tell I dont remember the name). After 5 days my teeth are getting WHITE!

I used them before, but thought that it did an ok job. I heard that teeth whitening by the dentist works wonders!

A while ago I used a Colgate whitener kit through a dentist. I paid $350 cause he was a family friend but the usual charge is around $500 he said. It was through Colgate (I forget the actualy name of it). It was a week long process that I did every night. The dentist made plastic mouth molds of my teeth for me to use and the whitener was in these syringe like tubes that I injected into the mouthpiece everynight. It was only one week and it worked AWESOME! It was noticeable but not drastic. I am definitely planning on doing it again before the big day!

I want to do this too - but my 4 front teeth are caps. Will this work for me? Someone scared me by telling me that if i get them professionally whitened by a dentist that my side teeth may come out whiter than my front teeth!!!!!

My sis used the strips for her wedding and love them. My FH uses the injection and mouth piece thingy and he loves that.

Please try Crest Whitestrips before wasting your $. I used them for 2 months and people ask me all the time where I got my teeth bleached. Check them out before you spend alot.

I'm not sure where you live, but I went to Babylon Dental and they only charged $199 which I think is a steal. Let me know if you want the info

I consulted my hygenist about whitening and she told me not to spend the money. She recommended I use the Crest White strips. She said they are the same as the whitening that is used in the dentist office just a smaller dosage. She said it works really well. I am going for the Crest. Even if I have to use two packages it is still much cheaper the dentist.

I'm going to the dentist on wed to get the trays. He's only charging $250 so i figured what the hell. I hope they work. I'll let you guys know.

My dentist suggested the White Strips but not the brush on stuff because she said it damages the enamel on teeth. I don't know if its true, but she said that someone drank red wine a few hours after doing it and it stained his teeth! Like I said I don't know if its true, but I'll probably be sticking to the Crest White Strips.

LauraPete, caps will not get whiter, so yes, your real teeth will get whiter, while the caps stay the same color. At least this is what my dentist told me.

I used them for 1 month and then 3x a week for another month. Now I keep up w/ it 1-2x a month. FM me if you have any more questions.

Real Simple Magazine had an article about this two months ago. (I know it's ridiculous, but I usually trust what they say.) Anyway, they said that Crest Whitestrips were the best 'over the counter' whitener. I think I'll probably try them... quit smoking a few years ago but some of the damage remains!

I want to ZOOM and then follow it up with the trays. My FH thinks that if we are going to have mostly B&W shots it's not worth spending the $$$$. LOL! We have never had our teeth professionally whitened, but I think that the occassion warrants some special treatment...

OMG.....you gotta use my guy! he is 199....it lasts like a year and even more depending on your diet and stuff. i just got fittend for my trays today. you wear them for 2-3 days every 6 months to a year depending on your teeth!

Crest white strips are awesome! Check the newspaper for coupons for $7 off
