DH & I did our own....i always made cards for him thru the years & wrote poems & stuff so i looked thru a bunch of them for inspiration.

FH & I are still deciding if we are going to do our own vows. We got a book from Borders to get some inspiration from.

I tried to stay with a traditional theme (sickness/health, etc) but put my own twist on it. I wrote things down as they came to mind. I wrote down the things that were important to me, love, friendship, etc. then I built my vows on that. I put things in there that were specific to us, things that we would say to each each (nothing too mushy though). HTH

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and experiences.
FH and I shared what we've written so far and will probably do some more tweaking. At first we thought we wouldn't tell eachother beforehand but now we have! It's cute and very personal, I think. Believe it or not, I got my ideas by doing a Google search for wedding vows. Good ideas there!
