I have caller id- I want it to block any private numbers does anyone remember what you have to press to make it do that? I cannot find the book for it since my hubby has 'taken care' of any and all information books for the house!

I thought thats a service you have to activate with Verizon (and pay for)? Its not something you can set up on your own.
I could be wrong... I haven't had a landline in over a year now so I am probably behind the times.

thats for outgoing calls. i'm pretty sure you have to have the phone company do it too.

No, actually, I think it's incoming. I just tried it and it works. *82 is outgoing. So it's the #88 one.

To activate Anonymous Call Rejection, press *77
To deactivate Anonymous Call Rejection, press *87

Then a confirmation message came on that said your call rejection blah blah blah is now on!
