Are pants and dress sizes different? I am so scared because I haven't lost a pant sizes yet but I have lost inches and I am scared to death my dress won't fit!!!!

i think it depends on the type of dress and the designer....how tight was it to begin with? i think if you have lost inches, then it will fit....don't stress about it now...wait and try the dress on first

Well I was trying on a dress that was 4 sizes too small..but they measured me and ordered the dress to the size but I have lost inches and I am still the pant size when I went to go get measured. Just my dress size is smaller than my jean size and I was getting worried!

Could be depending on your bod... I loose weight in the boobs, so I am a smaller dress size, but my badunkadunk stays the same no matter what I do. Others could be more even or the opposite! I'm sure it'll look great, and good for you for losing inches!

if they measured you to the dress size then i definitely wouldn't be worried...they tend to over measure b/c it's far easier to take a dress in than to let it out

Just for a piece of mind I went and tried on a dress that I wore to my friend's wedding about a year and a half ago..and It fits! And the dress size is smaller than my wedding dress size, not to mention in the waist it is a bit baggy..so now I know I have nothing to worry about and it's going to fit me!! I very much doubt that in 4 month I could gain all those pounds and not go up a dress size or pants size...I feel allot better!!!

I usually take smaller sizes in dresses and skirts....glad your old dress fit!!!
