Who knows how to use a percolator????

We got this as an engagement gift from our registry since I figured it was more space-saving than a drip.

FH and I are having his newly married friends over for dinner tomorrow night. How do I use this???? Do I need special coffee?? Does it take a filter??

I'm going to the store after work today and forgot the instruction booklet!!!! aghhhhh!!! entertaining is stressful already!!!!

Re: Who knows how to use a percolator????

it uses regular coffee, but it needs those round flat circle-shaped filters. you put one underneath the ground coffee, and one on the top of it. you can probably google for the manual to the one you have so you can double check it before you go shopping. good luck! :)
