Who manages Vendor INsurance process: RH or yourself?
I know the RH definitely needs an insurance certificate from DJ/MC and photographer. I assume videographer as well. They weren't too clear what I need to do. I'm in the process of booking a video person and quartet. Does this mean I need a copy of the insurance cerficate before I book. Or the RH is the one managing this process?

well if you book a vendor first ask if they have insurance, most big vendors will so it won't be a problem. Vendors know how to handle this since they do this all the time. The vendors send over the info to your RH.

no you do not need a copy to hand in to the RH..
its just in case something happens.. this way your vendor is covered for their own stuff and not the RH..
its a formality...

If they are a house vendor, the RH should have the papers on file

exactly
for e-party i used a DJ from another area that they didnt work with before so the Rh contacted me and said to have my dj call them so they can get their info regarding insurance, i told our Dj and he took care of the rest

You dont have to do anything, most of your vendors will contact your RH directly and take care of it, I didnt do anything as far as the insurance was concerned~if they do need anything Im sure that they will call you
