Sometimes the grooms family volunteers...but mine cant afford to,,,so we are paying for it ourselves.

well I think 'traditonally' FH's family...in my case they are also HTH

Traditionally is the grooms family. We are paying ourselves also...nobody came foward yet....although we have some time.

traditonally it is suspose to be the grooms parents, bc tradionally the bride parents pay for the wedding.

We ended up paying for our wedding ourselves and the rd ourselves. Luckily my mom helped out as much as she could

these days it seems tradition goes out the window with the idea of who pays for what.

have your FILs mentioned anything at all about it?

Anything goes... anybody can pay for it.
Traditionally it's groom's parents which happened in our case & we were so grateful.

nothing at all , but then again they asked me if we needed help paying for the wedding and I said no. So I guess RD was included . I guess I should have taken the help.

Typically the groom's parents, but in my case probably us. My FMIL is clueless.
