Do you like it better? Do you find it is easier and quicker? I still write out checks for everything, but DH pays a lot of things online. I am a bit hesitant, but he wants me to switch. Feedback???

How did you set it up all through your bank? It is directly taken out of your account? DH has some taken right out of checking but not all. I am so confused???
Also, do you keep it in your check book register? Or do you print receipts?

My bank offers online payments. I pay through the checking acct. Yes I write in in my check register & I can also view it online.

I have been doing it for years and love it!! Right now my bank charges .35 cents a bill same as a stamp, but I am switching banks and they have free bill payer so it is even less expensive then mailing them!!

At this point, I think I pay all of them online! It's easy, fast, safe!! Go for it! I dont have it set up automatically that it comes out from my account. I make the actual payment.

My bank offers it too, I guess Im the old fashioned way by sending out checks. I think I may look into doing this. I can save on stamps

Just started this and LOVE it. So easy. My bank offers it free. So nice to not have to send a check a week in advance, I can pay them a few days before anything is due, very convenient. And not writing all the checks out and saving money on stamps is wonderful. I can't believe I got along without this!

I do it all online and I don't write it in my check registry. I look at my account more online than I ever would look at my registry, so it's pointless to write it down. Plus, if I click on a bill, it tells me when I last payed it and how much I payed. It's great, especially if you know your bills are always for the same amount, you can have them automatically paid on the same date. I pay them manually, though, I just like to SEE myself pay them.

I use my bank to pay for bills too. Its free, convenient and free. Have been doing this for years, haven't had any problems.

I pay all except one or two online. And its so easy. At first I was nervous about it b/c, like you said, you don't actually SEE the check, but, like this website, once you start its almost impossible to go back

ok ,i'm a bit anal and organized which is partialy why i am hesitant. do you keep a record of your payments? do you sit down once a month to pay them or every couple of days? which bills do you have online? i am sick of paying money with stamps to friggin pay my bills. what i am thinking about is putting my bills on my credit card so i can get miles and then paying the credit card online. anyone do that?

I do and I like it. I print out online receipts and keep them until I know the payment wnet through plus a month or so after that.
I don't even get bills anymore. It's a waste of paper, I think. I get my bills in my e-mail and if I have to show FH something (like our OUTRAGEOUSLY huge phone bill...geez) then I print it out for him to see.
