I didn't but I am in a bridal party that did.

The bride found a dress she LOVES and just told us this is it.

My MOH (my sister) picked the dress out and was the only one to try it on. When she decided on the dress, I just my BMs that I found the dress.

I picked the dress out....one BM tried it on...the rest saw a picture and we are ordering in the next couple of weeks!

i kind of did that. my MOH picked her dress then together we picked a dress for the other girls. they all came and tried it on then we ordered. i have to say, i was not very democratic about it, but i didn't feel like being nicey-nice. i remember my sisters wedding and how we all (BM) ended up arguing about what kind of dress would be flattering. it was a nightmare.

I had my sister and my best friend go with me and pick them out. My sister is 5'9 with broad shoulders and boobs and my best friend is 5'1 and 98lbs. I figured whatever looked good on both of them, anyone else could wear. And it worked out great. I would NEVER bring 8 girls with me to chose a dress.

I picked the dress (2 piece from Impressions) from a magazine. I had my two MB try the dress on but my MOH didnt try it on. The one of my BM got pregnant, so we had to cancel her dress. I got on the Impression website and I also called Impressions. The lady from Impressions and I went through all their dresses to see what would work on a pregnant woman. I e-mailed all the pictures of the dresses to my BM with my preferences and she picked one. I ordered the dress the next day. So technically only one out of the three women in my BP actually tried on their dress.

I did, but i found something that is 2 pieces,so will be flattering on everybody. the dress also comes with a shawl if anyone chooses to want more coverup. i showed everyone pictures off the computer!

Only a few of my girls tried the dress on...one still has not seen the dress at all...I am picking it up this weekend for her and bringing it to her...hope she likes it!!!!

Thanks girls - I really think i am going to end up being not very democratic about it either.

I'm the only one that tried on the dress I chose. I just told everyone the dress I wanted them to get and asked them if they were on board or not.

They'll be ordering them in a few weeks.

Georgia - it depends on who it is. All of my BM are sibling and cousins so they would whoop me if I picked something they didn't like - we have that kind of relationship If you have the type of relationship with them and have kept their bodytypes in mind I'd try it and see how it goes!

I only had MOH (my sister) so it was easy. MWe went to get a dress for my Mom and I saw this dress that i really liked for my sister in the colort that was just perfect! I described it to my sister over the phone and we both decided that I should get it for her! Luckily they had one in her size!

Well, I brought it over and she absolutelly loved it! Here is a few pictures to show it off!

I alway remind her how good it looked on her and that it was ME who found it for her, and how I was so right and how I immediately knew tht she will love it! Hee Hee

My MOH and I picked out the dresses without the rest of the bridal party.

I had my BM who I though would be the hardest, try the dress on. She has a big bust so I wanted to make sure she was comfortable. She loved it and I loved the dress and also on her. I just showed the rest of the bridal party and ordered them in their sizes.

I had to have my MOH's ok too... shes also hard to fit, has a big chest. But lucklily one of the dresses i loved fit her really well!!!

so we're getting the rest of the girls together, just as a formality really... just want them to see it and feel comfortable with wearing it (but i know the other two won't be a problem). I'd like them to feel involved.
