WHO PLANNED THEIR ENTIRE...

Original post by D's Girl

Wedding from their Office/Desk?

I have to say, I am guilty as sin!!!! I have planned every single detail, ordering, etc.. from my office.

Thank god I still have a job after all of this, If my boss had any clue

I didn't plan my WHOLE wedding at my desk, but anything that needed to be ordered or phone calls I needed to make were done at my desk!

i just saw this and i know the thread is old.. BUT i had to chime in.. HAD TO!! i did so much for my wedding at work, that now that i'm on vcacation for the summer... i'm at a bit of a stalemate.. and i keep listing all of the things i cam going to do in September when i go back to work.. but NONE OF THEM include teaching the kids!!

i can print my programs..
borrow a projector for my aisle runner
pritn the menus
cut out the place cards

i've pretty much ran out the ink in my classroom. and tha't just on save the dates and eparty invites!

I planned a lot from work. Sometimes it's hard to get in touch with your vendors outside business hours.

Hee hee...I am in court all day, assigned to one courtroom (I work for Legal Aid representing children, and we have one attorney/one courtroom). My part has been dubbed 'The Wedding Planning Part!' Even my male judge asks me about progress, all of the clerks and officers help, lawyers on my cases ask for updates on the wedding before settlement negotiations, and I have a huge stack of wedding magazines which random clerks and attorneys can be seen reading during lulls! And, I run out of court to the hall on 'business'...you know calling vendors, etc...helps to have a smartphone with email and internet!

Seriously I can't tell you how many times I've told myself I have to stop doing wedding stuff at work! I can't remember the last time I put a full 8 hours in to my job.

My boss actually made a comment at my wedding about how in the world did i plan the wedding and do work at the same time...I took it as a compliment

I do a good amount of research at work
But boss is getting married this month, so she's just as bad. And now, the co-worker who sits across from me is engaged. Needless to say, there's a whole lot of wedding talk!

But it's kind of funny b/c I still manage to get all my work done. It makes me wonder, what will do I when this is all over?
