Is there only a organist? Can we hire someone to play more than the organ? I'm confused about this?

We are just having the organist - but that is what we want - at our church that is the nicest option they have an amazing organ.

BUT there is no reason that you can't get horns or something in addition - I would ask your church if they would object and talk to their organist about what they think would be your best options based on your church

Etd to add we are also having soloists and possibly a choir - but not sure on that one - thought you mean just the instruments

We had an organist, 2 singers, a trumpeteer and a violinist - we chose the singers from my church and told the musical director that we wanted a violinist and a trumpeteer and he hired them. My church only allowed us to use people affiliated with my church.

You can have pretty much anyone you want to play at your wedding. We didn't use the organ at all but had trumpets, a string quartet, and friends playing piano, guitar and saxophone.
