my aunt (mom's sister), uncle, their 3 kids, my cousin and her husband, my bff and her husband that was my entire side of the family that was at our wedding

they were sitting w/my dad's cousin/BF and his wife, my mom;s friend + hubs, and my mom's cousin+wife+kid. basically all of the ppl that wouldnt have fitted in any other table either b/c of age, friendship or not knowing anyone else. plus this way my parents were sitting pretty much with their close friends which made it fun for them
after doing their table I did run it by parents if it was ok

It's going to be my parents, uncle, aunt, brother, and his guest.
If my grandparents were living, they would be at that table.
If my other brother wasn't an @$$hole (he actually isn't coming to the wedding ) he'd be there too.

my dad has 1 sister left and she didnt come... her son & his gf came... my other aunt on my dads side passed away... her husband remarried they sat at the table next to my dad...
my dad only had 1 blood relative at my wedding.

My mom, her boyfriend of millions of years, my 2 aunts, 1 uncle, and 6 of her friends. I was so annoyed with her throughout the seating process because I originally had my siblings at the table and she told me that's so terrible to put young people at a table with them when they should be socializing...so I put them at different tables. My siblings had great tables, and my mom said 'I told you your siblings could have fit at my table if you did _______.' I just tuned her out because she gave me such a hard time to begin with .

my parents are divorced so they were at separate tables...
mom (table of 9, ended up being 11) her 'friend' her college roommate and husband distant cousin (who she's close with) and her husband good friend my sister's in-laws neighbors (who were supposed to be at a different table)
dad (table of 8) his 'friend' sister and husband their two kids and significant others
