Who says you can't have a wedding on a budget....Mini review
I knew coming into this process I would have to cut corners. I planned my wedding on a tight budget and I pulled off the most amazing night. I was never going to do any kind of review but it would do injustice to my vendors who made my day all that it was....
First off Liwedding was a great tool in this process. I found so many creative ideas from doing a search on the site and going through old posts from brides dating back years ago. The search button was my favorite tool. Its a great thing they provide us girls with at no cost. I won tickets to TWOTY and it was a good night out. No prizes for me.
Mya Cosmetic Artistry - Awesome. Great job on all us us. Sweetheart to work with.
Pastor April - I did not meet her prior to my ceremony but had a great vibe with her just talking on the phone. She made it a point to meet me as we were getting ourselves together to walk into the ceremony. She was adorable, great energy, bubbly personality and just very likeable. She loves with she does and it shows. Beautiful ceremony.
Flowers by B*urtons - Remarkable. I did not ask for a sample centerpiece as I trusted them. My flowers were amazing. Beyond perfection.
DJ Harry from Get your groove on - I found my way to him through a friend. I wasn't going for the glitz and the glam and he was the perfect man for the job. His rate was awesome and he was very attentive from the moment I booked him. I had a few meeting with him that took place at my house. All around just a great guy to deal with. He did not let me down.
The little candy cake company - I used them for my favors. I saw a post on here from years ago of these little wedding cakes so I figured I would take a stroll through her store. Not really knowing what I was going to do I got into talking to her and we came up with my perfect favor. Cindy is a doll and my favors were a huge hit.
Lady J's cakes - Another awesome vendor I found on here. Her Grooms cake went above and beyond my expectations. Another sweetheart to work with. She truly outdid herself and her cake got so many compliments.
Three Village Inn - They worked with me and we created such an amazing wedding. I got so much for my dollar. I didn't opt for the wedding package as I had a slightly smaller group so we put together a cocktail reception. First hour of amazing passed appetizer with an antipasta & cheese table. My food stations opened after my first dance and stayed open for almost 2 hours. There choices of food was remarkable and outside the norm. The amount of food I had was incredible. I got so many compliments and lets not forget about the dessert spread that was put out along with my grooms cake. If anyone knew what I paid for a plate they would not believe me. I had a few hiccups along the way with them and a few pre-ceremony but in light of it all I would not have picked a different venue. I got to spend 2 nights in there cottage and I really enjoyed myself. Beautiful non-typical wedding feel to there venue.
