Ok, so as some of you know I decided that I want to ask my cousin (a guy) to be a part of our BP. He lived with my family for many years when he was young and I have always thought of him as an older brother of sorts. My FH has no problem with him being a GM but we are unsure of who should ask him. Should I have my FH call him, or is it appropriate for me to ask and explain why I want him to be a part of our special day?
What if you asked him together? Maybe get together for drinks or dinner or something?

well what side do you want him to be on your fh's or your side of the bp? I have a bestman in place of a MOH and i asked him. But from what I am thinking you are asking your cousin to be a groomsmen. If he is not familiar with your fh I think its best for both of you to ask him.

yeah i agree, maybe you can ask him together.
I agree, ask him to get together for dinner...this is an important event!
I don't see why you can't ask him... you're the one that's close to him! if anything, when you call you can have your FH talk to him too!
