i do, and its really starting to get to me. I used to think it was great but more and more I find myself extremely bored and longing to leave my cubicle. I think I just need a new job bad!!

Took the words right out of my mouth. I hate sitting her all day looking at my gray cubicle walls with my gray desk and black computer - sooo BLEH. And I turn around and look at my gray walls! Double Bleh! No amount of pictures/art cheers this place up I also hate my job, so the BLEH feel isn;t getting any better

I do too and lately it has been bugging me a lot!! I was telling my DH that I envy people whose jobs involve traveling, working outside etc....

I wish I had my own office....I hate cube life. People are so loud around me....I have people who think its right to stand behind me and have conversations....Dont they realize I am trying to post on LIW, I mean do my work lol.

I am tired of people that listen to their voice mails on speaker, and people that have conversations at their cube with other people, and people that listen to their music way too loud.

I hate cube life. I always get up to walk around, or goto the bathroom or get some water. I go nuts sitting in this cube for long periods of time and I get bored of my job because it is very repetitive.

Thursday, I am moving my cube to a different location. It is a good thing cause I am tired of looking at the same wall everyday, I need a new wall to stare at lol.

Couldnt agree more

I sit at a desk all day in a beautiful office with large windows, but I still feel the urge to get out of the building whenever possible.
I try to eat my lunch outside or take a walk every day. I also run errands that are supposed to be our secretary's job, just to have an excuse to get out of my chair.

I usually go out for lunch....I walk 2 to 3 miles at lunch time, come inside and eat my lunch and then the afternoon usually flies. It is just the morning that drags.

Sorry, I didn't mean it that way! I meant that sitting at a desk is boring for just about anyone, even if you work in a pretty atmosphere.
For me, it's the afternoon that drags on and on and on....

oooo I like the idea of walking 2-3 miles @ lunch!
I sit ALL DAY long in the back corridor of a hospital. Boring!

i sit all day in a pretty much abandoned building with no windows in my area. I hate it!! and i am so bored, and meanwhile they are discussing hiring someone to replace the guy who left. then i will REALLY have nothing to do since i took his work (which really isn;t alot).

I'm currently looking in Virginia now, and just applied to my dream job today!! so i'm crossing my fingers!! its a longshot, but i'm praying!

I get to go outside when i have to go to the hospital to help someone or do a backup.

The grass is always greener.

DH works outside all day everyday - pouring toreential rain, when it's 10 degrees and when it's 95 degrees. He doesn't love it - he is often tired, he can't stand driving on the weekends, etc.

I get tired of sitting here all day but I would rather be comfortable climate wise and have the option to not go outside when I don't want to.
