Who takes an Express Bus to commute?

I have a really dumb question about these darn buses and the whole fare Metro Card thing. Who can help?

I don't take the express to work because I worry that there would be morning traffic going into the city and I still would have to transfer to another bus or train once the express bus gets into the city. But I sometimes take the express bus home if it's late at night because it's one Bus that leaves me a block away from my house.

I take the express bus from staten island, I buy a 33.00 unlimited card for the week. or else it is 4.00 each way. HTH

Tell me more about this unlimited. Where can I get one? Can I get on the train with it?

unlimited is 33.00, for the 7 days. you can use it on trains subways city busses and express buses. I buy mine in a store that sells metrocards, DH gets his from metrocard machine in subway stations.
