Who takes home centerpieces?

For those girls with floral centerpieces-- how do you plan on giving them away the night of the wedding? Next birthday, next anniversary, oldest, youngest?

our vases were rented but we just let whoever take the flowers at the end of the night, mostly my friend's mom who is a horticulturist (sp?) and basically obsessed with flowers.

I feel like it's going to be mostly family taking them home at the end of the night. But if others want them as well, then I guess it'll be whomever stays till the end and grabs one haha.

Who takes home centerpieces? - Long Island Weddings

When I was younger, I attended a wedding where they had a game to give away the centerpieces. Basically it was like musical chairs except you were passing the centerpiece around and when the music stopped whoever had it keeps it! If your centeroieces are jumbo mumbo maybe you can have something else to pass around

The DJ can usually do a fun way of giving them away...they will and music and pass a napkin around etc

I've been to lots of weddings where one person from each table takes out a dollar from their pocket and they play hot potato. Whoever ends up with the dollar keeps the dollar. The person who gave the dollar takes the center piece.

That's what both my sisters did at their weddings and it was actually fun.
