Do you know anything about how I can start teaching at a college? I have my Masters. I thought about doing it parttime.

I don't, but my older brother does

I don't know where you live but you can go to any college's website to see what postings are available - Suffolk Community College and Dowling both have adjunct positions available. Good luck !!

Thank you!

Suffolk is a bit far for me. I'm in Queens now but very shortly moving to Nassau. I'll have to check out NCC!

Re: Who teaches at a college?

I am an advisor at a college.I am also an adjunct professor. I started teaching FYE (which is a freshman orientation course) because its offered through my department. Then I started getting asked to teach other courses.

So in the past year, I've taught FYE, Developmental Writing, Career Development and Information Literacy.

The school is in Queens though. What type of class are you looking to teach?
